Hero Quest, the 1989 fantasy board game from Milton Bradley, had been an obsession of mine ever since the middle of the nineties. So at one point I had to play with the rules and see what I could do to tweak them, which resulted in a slightly more complex (and largely unfinished) rules addendum, that added more interesting choices to the combat.
