I have lived a lifetime, with evil I have dined
I have sworn to be good, all darkness left behind
I have felt the touch of love, and had it torn from me
I have received promises, that one day it would be
I have waited centuries, for my love to return
I have been let down again, and missed another turn

Shadows striking silently, in the brightest day
Anonymous to all of them, allowing none to say
Shadows conspiring secretly, survive will only the smart
Students going to a test, learning most ancient of arts
Shadows winning all that are, wealth and power alike
Pale is one and black is two, when will one of them strike?

Fate found in the forest, a lifetime long past
We danced a battle fierce, one ended pretty fast
You came to my town, took it all by storm
Oh lovely lady, true love it was born
Tell me what I need to know, how we moved apart
I am white and you are black, oh queen of my heart

A flow of many memories, they’re disintegrating all
Even though I try, they break down my mental wall
Who are you shadows, plotting my descend
I never asked for this, for you to me attend
Now I don’t crave for power, I only lust for clarity
And then I’ll find and kill you all, you masters of conspiracy
